mp3 decoding programs

is nero mix a worth while mp3 decoding program worth the money to buy a license past the 30 mp3 limitation?

There are other free and maybe better tools to decode MP3 files to WAV, e.g. the MAD player - which you can find e.g. at http://mitiok.cjb.net (one of the most important LAME binary distributors, also has many valuable links).
