Are Bluray Movie Discs 24p or 23,976p?

Recently, studios have started selling Bluray Movie Discs with "24p" video.

Is it really 24p or 23,976p?

The BDMV spec allows for both 24p and 23,976p, but which of the two is the most prefered?

If the most prefered is 23.976p, isn't that a small deviation from the original 24p the movie was shot?

You can use the two format.

In europe you find a lot of true 24P
In us they generaly use 23.976 to stay compatibble with 29.97.

What is the best ? good question.

They're 24000/1001 if you want to be picky about it.
