I have a Canon HD camera. It makes great videos and can write directly to a SDHC card. The beauty is that I can stick the card right into my Blu-ray player because the camera creates the proper file structure for playback. But, as I found out the hard way, you cannot simply burn that file structure to a disc and have it play in the Blu-ray player. I have the stock Pixela software that came with the camera. It can pull the video and burn it to a BD-25, but nothing else. I want to be able to burn my HD home movies to smaller discs, like DVD5 and DVD9. I know this can be done, so how? I don't want to have to re-render the files every time. There has to be a way to convert the file structure so I can burn to a DVD and save my expensive BD-25. I seldom need more than 5 or 8 gigs to back up trips to the dog park or the lake or whatever. I have some decent software to edit video, but again, I just want to burn the files directly without always having to screw with them. Thanks.
