Hi all,

Been trying the product for a few weeks and just love it so far. The only issue(s) I've had are when I try to rebuild a BR to a DVD-5. So far, I've only tried with special features/extras as I wanted to test from a quality standpoint, but there was a bonus "movie" on the Blow Out BR that I wanted to rip to DVD. Attached is the log file...appears to have worked fine until it got to the audio portion.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hmmm, looks like there is an extra "underline" character in "AUD_00312__4352.AVS".

[Edit] Never mind. That extras "_" was being added when printing the error message.

What happens if you try to play back "AUD_00312_4352.AVS" with a media player?

I think I see what you're seeing...any way to fix that?

Well, I'm a little confused by this. I see a file that seems to be identical to the one listed in the error in name, but it's a "script" file and does nothing when I try to open it. There is an audio file that is similar in name (but not exactly) and if I try to open it using QuickTime it says additional software might be needed to play it, and again...nothing happens. I'll try to screenshot what is in my "WORKFILES" folder in case that helps with the next step...

You have to right click on it and have either Windows Media Player or Media Player Classic open it. Yes, it is a script -- but it is interpreted by AVISYNTH when you open it in a player.

I tried two times to reencode to DVD and both times I got the same error. The first time to DVD5 and the second time to DVD9.
I can't post anything, I deleted everything. Could it be that i did the reencode from the BD25 encode instead of the original rip.

Thanks

Thanks What's the disc you're trying? Hopefully I have it and can see if it can be repeated here.

Sorry it took me a while to get back to you...rough day.

Anywhoo, I tried opening that script file again and got the attached message when trying to play with WMP. When I clicked through it, it seemed to play the audio only portion of the movie just fine.

Hello again...since I was able to click through that message and WMV played the audio fine...what does that mean in regards to the error received with BD Rebuilder and why it would not complete the encode to DVD size?

Thanks!

Thanks! It means it wasn't the AVS that caused the problem. Can you post the contents of the AVS file?

Which of the files is that? How do I send the contents? (Very sorry...BR ripping newbie here)
