Creating standards compliant encode to burn to Blu Ray?

I have spent a long time searching for this through these forums and the internet and have come up with no solution so time to post a thread!

Basically i am trying to create a Blu ray disk with a film on it, i need to reencode a film burn this to a disk and be able to play it back on most if not all blu ray players.

My problem is that when i burn this disk to a DVD / Blu ray i am getting skipping and stuttering on some players. I believe this is being caused by the fact my encode is not up to the blu ray disk standards. Various things to do with B pyramids, encoding levels etc.

Simply put is there a Blu ray encoder i can just set the quality on and it will encode it into a standards compliant video file?

Also is there some sort of checker i can use to make sure that it the resulting file is compliant and all correct?

This has been discussed over and over again.
Look here (http://www.x264bluray.com/) for examples of compliant encoding settings for x264 (make sure to get the an up-to-date binary from e.g. here (http://x264.nl/)) for all allowed resolutions, and here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=154533) if you need further explanations.
After encoding simply mux the stream together with AC3 audio with tsmuxer.
