I've successfully encoded movies with the sound as MP3's...and they've been pretty darn good. Thanks GKnot!!

However, I'd like to take advantage of the AC3 option. After looking around, I'm still a little unclear on a few things.

(1) Under the Bitrate tab: Under "Interleaving & AVI-Overhead", which option do I choose? Is it 1xAC3...2xAC3?

(2) Still Under the Bitrate tab: Under "Audio A", Is it still safe to use 128 bitrate?

(3) Just before encoding, which audio file is the best to select? Also, you choose "Just Mux" ...right?

Thanks in advance for any help. Like I said, I've looked around, but I just cant seem to find an answer.

(1) depends whether you want to include one ac3 track or two

(2) choose select and then select the ac3 file, this will give the eaxact value

(3) choose the ac3 file, and yes choose just mux

Thanks for the help

....but,

(1) Why would you want 2 tracks? What's the difference?

(2-3) Which AC3 track is the best choice?
