Need help with IVTC (anime)

TFM() leaves a lot of bad (blended/interlaced) frames.
AnimeIVTC(mode=2) is even worse.

Is there any way to properly IVTC these DVDs? (The DVDs are originals, R2J; all content is similar to this clip.)

It's field-blended. If you want a really slow way to do it:

QTGMC( "Slower", TR0=1, TR1=1, TR2=1)
SRestore(FRate=23.976)

Thank you, this gives the best results so far! Slowness is not a problem.
Still sometimes the image is somewhat "dirty", e.g. like this (http://i.min.us/ikXRBY.png) (look at the top border of the sheet of paper). Is this something that can't be cured?

I'm at a different computer now and don't have the sample handy. If that's at a scene change you can always go through it and freezeframe it with a good frame next to it. That kind of thing is very common at scene changes when the source is field-blended. If it's not at a scene change maybe SRestore just doesn't 'see' the blend because it's so faint. I don't know. You can freezeframe that also. Using freezeframe you can replace the 'bad' frame with a good one right next to it. Assuming there is a good frame next to it:

Didn't look at the sample, but over time I've seen several fieldblended sources that contain "additional inverse blending". (Kind of: from the basic blendings, the "inverse" blend-difference is present in the anchor field/frame).

If so, this kind of artifact is hard to come by. From the look of the screenshot, this could be the case here.
