Autorun Program [Archive]

Is there a program that will recognize an avi disc in my cdrom drive and then start the player of my choice? I have quite a few burned cd's and I do not want to re-burn them to put autorun files on the cd's themselves. Thanks

It's quite new. It's programmed by a guy I know from a german board (the website is english).

Well, I tried the little program and it doesn;t seem to work. I emailed the guy who wrote it and am waiting for a response. Will only work with windows media player with windows 98. Doesn;t work at all with windows XP.

It works for me, but I'm using Win98 and not XP. I hope the author will be able to help you.

What program do you use it with? What are you're settings? Any help would be great.

Untill know I only used it with WMP6.4 and Winamp. You have to have Windows' auto insert notification activated.
