? to all i have no problems with coping movies or making the movie fit on dvd. my problem is with dvd-r or standalone. movie plays good on writer. but choppy on standalone. works good on sony 2. but no problems with useing dvd-rw's on both computer an stanalone. i even tryed all driffant dvdr. can someone help?:devil: :confused: :devil:

Although "most" DVD players are compatible with DVD-R/RW there are a few that aren't. The problem can either be the media itself (cheap brand medias) or the pickup in the DVD player is too weak to properly display DVD-R/RW videos. One other thing that you may want to try is lowering the writing speed of the DVD-R to 1x instead of 2x.

i tried slow speeds it works graet with dvd-rw's
that writes with 1 speed so a yried it on dvd-r still choppy:confused:
