My BluRay files play fine using CyberLink when the computer is connected to the LCD using either the VGA and DVI connector. When I switched to the HDMI connector, I can't play any BluRay stuff with CyberLink saying that I have an unprotected output. Are there any decent software (free or pay) that does not have this problem?

Thanks!

HDMI sucks. Sorry, it won't help, but wanted to say it.
No problem with MPC-HC for example if you want to test...

Yeah I can't run Arcsoft with a VGA monitor and a HDMI/DVI LCD monitor (one of those adapter leads DVI one end, HDMI the other).

The audio turns off if it is DTS-MA or TrueHD.

2 x VGA works. 2 x HDMI would work. All are "compliant". But not if you mix them.

Stupid HDCP crap. You'll have to crack the disc. The protections force you to break them to watch your legally owned content, it's beyond stupid.

Once you are past the protection you can use Zoom Play or MPC-HC, or convert the disc to an MKV file.
