DTS audio

Lately I seem to be dogged by audio problems.

I'm working from a BluRay disc. It is the Region B release. The audio, when demuxed by DGAVCindexDI is:
PID 1100 C+L+R+SL+SR 48 1536 DELAY 0ms.dts

No filter I have tried will open the .DTS. I convert and downmix with eac3to but no filter will open the resultant wav file. Wavsource gives the error:
"No compatible ACM codec to decode 0xFFFE audio stream to PCM"

I have to open the eac3to file as raw data in cooledit then save as wav. I'm guessing it is something to do with the header as the pre cooledit and post cooledit versions have identical filesizes.

I tried BeHappy but it just said "Starting..." and did nothing!

I had high hopes of nicdtssource() but it just hangs mostly. Once I got audio but it was approx half-speed, garbled and ear-bleedingly loud!

The .DTS plays perfectly in VLC but trying to convert with VLC gave very odd and unacceptable results.

Sorry but I don't use DGAVCindexDI.
Try to extract/convert the dts track from the full BD with eac3to and post the log.

Put the eac3to log.
AviSynth 2.58 can open WAVE_FORMAT_EXTENSIBLE (0xFFFE) wav files.

BTW you can use the eac3to parameter '-simple' to obtain the old wav header.
