Hi all,
There are so many tools and GUI which one is a good and fairly used one?
What I need to do at least is:
- be able to encode x264 (or xvid) into mkv or mp4 container
- crop videos manually
- trim video exactly to a frame
- occasionally up and down scaling of the video
- deinterlacing video
- have some control over additional filters to tweak results a bit
So far the most commonly used tools up to the task seem to be:
a) MeGUI
b) mencode (probably with MediaCoder)
c) VirtualDubMod
All of the above allow to manually apply filters for flexibility and hopefully better result.
Q1: Is there anything else that can be used and is similar good and flexible?
Q2: What are the main differences between the above? When to use which tool? That is is one particularly good for some task and the next for a different one?
