View Full Version : All encodes failing lately

Hello,

I've been able to use Rebuilder in the past with success. I don't know what could have changed, but I have not been able to reencode at all lately. Tonight I deleted Rebuilder, and all ancillary programs, and started from scratch with all new installations.

This did not help. I'm running Windows 7 x64. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It's worth trying to play the individual m2ts file to see whether that's okay.

^^ Doesn't appear to be any problem with the m2ts files, as I'm able to use Vidcoder and make a variety of mp4's for my iPhone/iPad.

BD Rebuilder does this automatically the first time it is installed -- but apparently some other program has decided to change it.

Thank you very much! I will try this fix a bit later today.

Uninstall and reinstall everything (BD Rebuilder, FFDSHOW, HAALI, and AVISYNTH) -- sometimes other software will intercept the CODEC and it won't show to BD Rebuilder.

should install bd rebuilder last? i dont know if the order makes a difference but seeing that bd rebuilder does a check when first ran i assume it should be installed last. forgot to mention i am using anydvd 6.7.9.9.

ok so i reinstalled everything and that got it to start encoding. now during the encode, x264 codec keeps crashing on the 2nd pass at around 48%. here is the log file.

i decided to try to revert back to 6.7.9.0 of anydvd. and that was the problem. it is now encoding a 20% and still going. i will notify slysoft of the beta problem with 6.7.9.9 because i am a beta tester for them.

should install bd rebuilder last? i dont know if the order makes a difference but seeing that bd rebuilder does a check when first ran i assume it should be installed last. forgot to mention i am using anydvd 6.7.9.9.Order doesn't matter. Also go back to the normal standard release of AnyDVD (6.6.9.0). Mixing two betas is always a formula for trouble. I had another bug report a couple of days ago that was caused by 6.6.9.9.

[Edit] Whoops, to late. I see you have already found that to be the problem.
