Appending 2 AVI segments w/ VBR MP3

I'm trying to combine 2 Divx4 segments. They are encoded with the same resolution and the sound is VBR MP3. Is there a way to combine two avi segments with vbr mp3?

I Use This Program to join 2 divx3 segments
in the end the avi has no sound but with an audio
editor you can merge the 2 vbr and recompress them
and finally merge in the divx, i don´t know if with
divx4 source you can do this :)
