How can I change file icons?

I'm using Media Player Classic Home Cinema 1.4.2677.0, the ones that comes with the CCCP.

I much prefer what my .flv and .mkv files looked like with the latest version of the program, with this version they look like MPC's icon but with FLV or MKV written on it.

I'm on Windows XP, is there a way to change the icon appearance?

you should get a new mpciconlib.dll and copy it to MPC main folder (replace with old mpciconlib.dll)
