Disc number only!!!

I recently bought season 6 of Weeds and Season 4 of Mad Men. I have been backing up my DVD's for a few years now and have never run into this problem before. I used DVDFab to decrypt the seven discs and everything seem to be quit normal, that was until I tried to play disc one of Weeds. When I put the disc in my Toshiba DVD player it goes directly to episode 2. I then go back to the main menu and choose "Episode Selection" and select episode one, but it plays episode two!!! I then selct episode three just to see what will happen and it also goes to episode two. If I use the Skip button on my remote and skip backwards I eventually get back to episode one, what a pain in the neck. I then try disc two and three and they're fine. For sh*ts and giggles I figured I would try the Mad Men series and it went through the exact same crap. So I figured I would try to break this down. I have two of these Toshiba SD7300 DVD players and two older Phillips players and a JVC Player. It only does this crap on the Toshibas and not the other players. Any ideas on what this could be?

Perhaps jump to main title was enabled in DVDFab?

Cynthia... I haven't changed any settings in DVDFab, and even when I select Episode one it still plays episode two!!!

Ghitulescu... No, the original in fine. I've tried it on both of my computers!!!

Sounds like you have DVDFab set to turn off ALL PUOs (UOPs) - both in .IFOs and .VOBs.

Try UNchecking "turn off .VOB UOPs"...

Setarip_old - No man, everything is fully checked in the "Common Settings" section, under "Protection". Thanks for the effort though.

The weirdest part of the whole situation is that it's only the first disc on both seasons, and it's only on my Toshiba DVD players!!!

No man, everything is fully checked in the "Common Settings" section, under "Protection". And again, that's why I suggested that you specifically try UNchecking "turn off .VOB UOPs" - because some protection structures REQUIRE .VOB UOPs/PUOs (Different than .IFO UOPs/PUOs) to remain intact...
