Avidemux 2.5.4 crashing

Hi , I'm new to Avidemux and using 7 Ultimate and when I open an Avi file I get Packed Bitstream Dected and I open the bitstream and the program crashes.The build VBR map open's with no problem

Thanks I'll give it a try . I also tried the 2.5.4 (R6854 ) 64 Bit and still crashes

How do I install this build ?
a. Download the 7z file.
b. Extract it (using 7-Zip or WinRAR).
c. Run avidemux3_qt4.exe

Unzip the .7z archive to the folder of your choice. That's it!

You can use WinRAR (http://rarlabs.com/) oder 7-Zip (http://sevenzip.sourceforge.net/) ;)
