BeSweetGUI not able to go from AC3 directly to mp3

BeSweetGUIv0.6beta15 and v0.5

I'm new at encoding and so I know very little about it.

When I use the BeSweet mode, it starts the process and stops after 2 seconds, I don't see any errors. I do have the BeSweet.exe file selected.

I have to convert in two steps by being in the Lame 1 or 2 mode and selecting the AC3 to mp3 (it only works with the second button). It converts to a wave file first and than continues to make the mp3 without me doing anything else. The only problem with that is I need to fill in the file locations for Azid 1, Lame 1 rather than just for BeSweet.

I'm not sure but it seems the whole purpose of using BeSweet is to avoid creating a wav file first. Is that correct?

I'm using a very small AC3 sample of only 5 mb's for my test. I'm running XP with a 750 Duron with 256 mb's of ram.

I would also like to clear out all the fields for the file locations, is there any file I could delete to do that?

please try to follow the simple requests :

Read before reporting BeSweet bugs! (http://208.189.26.162/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15738)
a. make sure you're using the latest release of BeSweet. (i can't support old versions).
b. feel free to report bugs for beta releases, unLess i already released a newer stable release.
c. please state the command line was used. (if you use the GUI - click the "Copy command to clipboard" button).
d. try to create a logfile and paste it in your thread.
e. if BeSweet raised gpf (crashed), please state the process that raised the gpf (for instance : BeSweet.exe , ssrc.dll , azid.dll,...).
f. if it could be relevant - point out the operating system/computer system was used.

It didn't create a log file.

Using BeSweet1.11 and BeSweetGUIv0.6beta 15

Can you please tell me how to remove all the file locations for the different modes - Azid, Lame etc. When I click on the select source button it's a little confusing with all those fields and I can't reset them to be empty. What file can I delete to get rid of the locations and start over?

I noticed that BeSweetv1.11 is 21kb's and v1.0 is 44 kb's.

I was able to go from AC3 to mp3 with version 1.0 but not with version 1.11.

v1.11 should work as good as v1.0 .
you can try using v1.2b2 if you like...

btw : ignore filesizes ;)

I tried BeSweet v1.2b2 and for me it didn't work going from AC3 to mp3. So far only ver 1.0 has worked for me.
