How do you know DVD

Just wondering if anyone is having any trouble decrypting the movie "How Do You Know"? I put it in the computer, click on the DVDFab tab and it starts to scan the DVD. It just keeps attempting to "Open DVD Source". I'm using DVDFab v8.0.8.5. I just paid $24.99 and my wife is taking it to her mother's place to watch it this weekend and she is brutal with DVDs, I don't want her to ruin it, any help would be great!!!! thanks 12144

Hi!

1) Have you examined the disc for any physical imperfections?

2) Have you tried cleaning it?

3) Does it exhibit any unusual behavior when you PLAY it on your PC?

Try RipIt4Me with DVDFab disabled. You'll find it with Google.
It mightn't necessarily work, like most ripping software you'll find the odd disc it won't handle, but it's probably worth trying something different.

nope nothing. It plays fine on my computer and dvd player. how would i find an update for dvd fab? i have 8.0.8.5, i wonder if there are any beta versions?

yeah i tried that, i paid for lifetime updates, but it seems like other sites have the beta versions first. Thanks for the sarcasm though.

There was absolutely NO sarcasm conveyed or intended - and there's no (reliable) site that could possibly have newer (beta or otherwise) versions before the program's home website!


BTW - As a point of information, a fairly robust Googlesearch yielded in only one problem posted regarding making a backup of this DVD...

I don't know but I think dvdfab for $24.99 seems scam to me. Original price for software is higher that $100 just for dvd option.

I think he was referring to the cost of the DVD, not the program.

Hi!It looks like it may be a Cinavia problem.The way Cinavia is designed, it should in no way interfere with the ability to copy a disc (DVD or Blu-ray).

It only rears its ugly head upon PLAYBACK of the copy...

Maybe it will help to re-phrase the initial question. Has anyone been able to backup this title? I don't have this title or I would give it a try.
