Looking into getting a SATA BD drive for BDs.

Can anyone recommend a good drive, brand or model to try and get? :rolleyes:

What is this riplock I keep seeing? :confused:

Love Pioneer, always have use them for DVD and CD. I wish they had a BD-ROM drive only option. Looking for a reader drive for now. Not really looking for BD write abilities just yet. The price is nicer though.

Any other recommendations for a BD Rom drive only option?

I own a readonly Liteon (401s, not the 104s, it's older but gold), a BDRW 10x from LG (it works well so far, however not many BDRE written and only one BDR) and a LiteOn 112 (it failed a Panasonic 2x BDR). People swear ffor Pioneer 205 for burning and LG for reading (Liteon if tests are to be done).
