I have an RME Hammerfall DSP ASIO audio system setup on the machine that was being severely impacted by the BDrebuilder/FFDSHOW/Haali software installation. Personally Im more convinced that the culprits in this issue were pretty much the fault of the FFDsow/Haali setup rather than BDrebuilder but since BDrebuilder won't function without the other 2 apps I took them all off the system. Audio production is back to normal now that the FFDshow/Haali combo is gone.
It got so nasty that I couldn't even play an audio CD thru this system where as it was totally able to before.

SO... Hence my questions;
Is there a way to set up the BDrebuilder/FFDshow/Haali installs so that it doesn't completely hose up my audio production capabilities ??
Is there a way to keep FFShow/Haali AWAY from non-video related audio streams? Like cd audio, and ASIO applications etc... Seems like when FFDshow/Haali is installed they completely take over everything audio and video on the system.
I would like to be able to use BDrebuilder with the associated support stuff any suggestions ??

I'd suggest you instead contact the manufacturer and find out why their stuff is causing issues. HAALI and FFDSHOW work within the windows standards as to how they should -- if there are issues it is more likely to be a problem with the RME Hammerfall DSP ASIO.

Neither Haali nor ffdshow does anything with CD audio.

Neither Haali nor ffdshow does anything with CD audio. Not even if raw audio decoding is enabled?

In that case ffdshow can get used. But that option is disabled by default.

Tip: ffdshow has whitelist/blacklist functionality to prevent it from being used by certain applications. (config -> DirectShow control)
