Just out of curiosity, are there plans on making ripbot work with an x64 version of ffdshow? I installed rev3771 x64 (SVN builds by clsid) and Ripbot still wouldn't run until I installed rev3500+ with an x32 bit build. Please let me know!

Ripbot264 works with 32bit tools and only in x64 environments does it work with the x64 x264 codec.

Why?

Well its quite simple! Not all the tools used by Ripbot264 come in x64 flavors so as a general rule to keep compatibility issues down it only supports the x86 version of ffdshow it being one of the tools used.

The only reason that the x64 bit version of the codec works is because of a small modification in the AVS script to allow AviSynth an x86 frame server to communicate with it.

As far as I know there is only an 8~10% gain in speed using the x64 codec vs the x86 and there is no real gain at all using a x64 vs a x86 version of ffdshow to decode the video/audio.

So long as the environment of windows is compatible with x86 there is no need to change up ATM.
