Hello...
When this NTSC disc is inserted in computer and standalone it starts with movie title 1. There are 2 movie titles.
There are button menus (three menus) but they show up at end of movie.
Been experimenting and am able to make the disc start with menu but it starts with the second menu?
Would like to make the disc start with first menu. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
See this screendump:

Thanks...

Which one is the "first" menu?

First menu is the one marked with blue.

So, cut/paste the command you have in the right panel to the VMG FirstPlay. I assume Title Menu in VMGM does nothing (did once something but it was "cleaned").

Tried that but the menu that starts is still the second one, the one market with red.

Use the trace mode (arrow icon) in PGCEdit and you'll see exactly what happens and why.
What is the language code "ja" of the menus? Maybe your player has set another than this and the menu is skipped because the default language settings don't match...

It can't be that, you did something wrong.
Put all the pictures with the menus

@ggtop
I stepped through the disc and all seems OK in PgcEdit but the menu that starts is still the second one? Weird! "ja" is japanese.

Here are screendumps from the menus:

Sorry, thought you asked for dumps from menus.

I said to put that instruction into the first play, you said you put it and it went wrong. I wanted to be sure that this was the case, because it shouldn't.
And it wasn't
Wasn't suppose to be Jump to VTSM1 Root menu instead of PGC 1?

Yeah, that's right, it shouldn't but it does!?
So something else is broken but what?
Thanks guys or trying to help, I appreciate it! :)
I will continue consulting two of my best friends Trial&Error...

Well, do a Trace, and be sure that you press Eject (to reset the registries).

@Ghitulescu
Already done a trace and that come up OK. That's so weird!
Finally figured it out and changed "Set gprm(11)" to "Set gprm(1)" and now the first menu starts! :D

There is an easy solution to solve this kind of problem. If you can see what you want to be the first played thing (menu or title) in a player, then you can use PgcEdit's "Jump to PGC upon DVD insert" function to jump to the corresponding PGC. No need to manually edit the DVD. Just launch the function and follow the instructions.
