Has anyone been successful in appending multiple MKV's, each having a chapter(s), to one another using MKVmerge such that the chapters in the resulting file would have their proper timestamp offsets calculated by MKVmerge? I have tried this by adding the initial file, then appending all of the MKV's I want to include. The large file I get has the first 4 chapters working properly (I can jump to them in MPC-HC) but all of the subsequent chapters are ignored. When I append the separate files in the MKVmerge GUI I can see all of the "++>" indicators for all of the tracks except the chapters.
If I reopen the combined file in MKVmerge's chapter editor I can see that the first 4 are there but all the others are absent. If I can get this to work (beyond the first 4 chapters) then I would have a way of perfectly placing chapter points at the beginning I-frames of each chapter segment.
Does anyone know what might be happening here or know of a better solution to achieve the same result?
