hi guys, I got a corrupt MP4 file when using a mobile phone camera, something wrong when shooting.
It's a 600mb file, video codes: H.264, 800*480, data rate: about 2500kbps, 17~24 frames/second not sure.
I checked the corrupt MP4 file via HEX editor, it starts with atom 'mdat', no 'ftyp' or any other atom header.
So I'd like to extract video stream from the corrupt file.
I successfully copied an atom tree from a working video file to the corrupt MP4 file. But when I ran mp4creator to extract video stream, I got this error:
>mp4creator -create=202.mp4v --variable-frame-rate out.mp4
mp4creator: no VOSH header found in MPEG-4 video.
This can cause problems with players other than mp4player.

I heard that "VOSH header" exist in Atom esds. But you may see , the tree hasn't Atom esds, but Atom avcC. Is it the reason that mp4creator failed? So what should I do ?
After copied atom tree, VLC can recogniaze the file as a video file, but can play nothing, no video no audio, the timeline follows the working MP4 file but not the corrupt file.
YAMB can't work: Error opening file H:\202.mp4: IsoMedia File is truncated.
I also tried to install Mac OS X 10.5 on vmware on my PC using AMD cpu to run recoverMP4 program (http://lists.apple.com/archives/quicktime-api/2010/Jun/msg00090.html), but it reports: bad cpu in executable.
Any suggestions to extract the video stream from the truncated MP4 file? It's highly appreciated. Thanks in adv.
Mediainfo can't read info from the origin corrupt file, but after I copied an atom tree from a 58 min good video file, it shows report as below. ( Duration : 58mn 33s comes from atom tree of the good video file, while it shows video duration is 10mn 50s, I don't know if it is correct. )
