DVD-Audio watermark same as Blu-Ray?

I see lots of discussion about Blu-Ray watermarks. I am a surround enthusiast trying to backup my DVD-Audios but watermarking destroys my ability to backup onto other discs.

Any progress on removing DVDA watermarks? Or if I transcode to DTS-HD and put on BDA will it work, since I assume blu-ray looks for a different watermark?

The problem with DVD-Audio is that removing the watermark causes to the audio quality. Which is THE buying incentive for a DVD-Audio over the CD, and thus led to its death.
The buying incentive for BD is the video not the audio (profile 3 seems to target this, too), and frankly, for most if not all movies the 5.1 AC-3 audio track, if correctly done is more than sufficient. Lossless audio is something for audio freaks and plays or may play a role for concerts, live events, things related to music.
Buy yourself a player that ignores the watermark. There are lists in internet. Alternatively, rip the DVD-As to lossless files (like multichannel FLACs or WAVs) to play them on multichannel multimedia players.
