Hi!
Version 1.4x works, but with v1.5.0.2827 and above, MPC-HC can't play my avi files with x264 codec (capture with x264 lossless mode). MPC-HC play only audio. VLC play these files correctly.
See attached MediaInfo txt file. Thanks :)

Can't see the mediainfo attachment yet, but try disable DXVA. (View-> Options-> Internal Filters-> right-click the column on the right and click 'Disable DXVA filters')

Hi, I try uncheck H264/AVC (DXVA) checkbox, but nothing change. I think because I already disabled DXVA on SD video in options.

Try a different fourcc? Care to upload a sample? Any objection to matroska?

Hi, yes: sample (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=840VAG9W).
I like avi, because easy editable with virtualdub directly. Different fourcc? How?

I see. The MPC-HC's internal splitter doesn't like it.

Same for me too. It works just fine with Haali. 2 options, use Haali, or use matroska. There is a plugin for virtualdub for matroska support : http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/~fcchandler/Plugins/Matroska/index.html
It is kept up to date and works with x86 and x64 versions of virtualdub. You could also just use matroska as the final production format. Why no FLAC for the audio?

Try with http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=156191
(I'm going to sleep, in 3.. 2..)
These I believe may replace MPC-HC's internal splitters in the future.

With Haali Media Splitter, this avi is playable, works with MPC-HC, thx.

I see before many times, but VirtualDub matroska plugin not really works correctly.

I wrote above, matroska is not really supported format, I see video editors, example AviDemux etc. But of final version, I use mkv too. If I need edit mkv video file, I try unpack to avi...

I use flac already, but this sample file only simple sample. :)

What an interesting case. MPlayer Sherpya-SVN-r32674-4.2.5 doesn't play the wicked AVI. BUT ffplay does. :) ffdshow r3562 decodes the AVC stream correctly, regardless of the containers / splitters.
