Hi all,
i have a question about the tool under "Options/Quantization Matrices" in Dvd Rebuilder.
The Main feature Matrix is the "Medium bitrate value (with conseguently choise of the matrix)" of the feature video?
For example if i have a film with a feature bitrates:
4.000
3.500
5.000
2.800
2.200

The medium bitrate is 3500. IIt is correct if i'll add a matrice with a bitrare around 3500? Or i'll add a matrice with the max bitrate value? (4000+) in the main feature matrix?

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advanceYou should use the encoded (average) bitrate setting, not the maximum. Frankly, though, I'd recommend keeping the encoder default for most encodes. The advanced settings are generally for special case encoding.

Ok jdobbs, thanks for ur reply,
i like to manage the advanced tools of Dvd RB pro :) because i have addedd other 15 matrices in the matrix folder..... Now i know that the feature matrix value is the average value of all feature bitrate. :) Thanks again
