View Full Version : Reverse incorrect color temp on video

How can I reverse a high color temp of blue on the video I'm working with? I've tried tweaking RGBAdjust a lot but I just don't get what I want. The source is dull (not enough exposure, contrast, etc.) but it is very consistent. Also, it's an HD source.

Dont know if this can help you, see here,

save a single BMP image and load into the ColorYUV graffer,

might put you in the right ballpark and then find tune.
Not really complete at all, but still useful. Note, I use the term
'Rpow' rather than 'gamma', also 'pord' & 'spow' are not arguements
to ColorYUV, (just leave them alone)

EDIT: Perhaps I'll do an RGBAdjust graffer one day.

yea the coloryuv/levels graffer aren't really working for me. I figured out the right values for essentially increasing the exposure/contrast but the main issue is the reversal of the incorrect high blue color temp that the source was transferred to bluray with.

This is an interesting question...I have a few sources like this as well.

Would an RGBAdjust Graffer be useful?

Afterthought, just had a look, dont seem to have RGBadjust in my collection.
Dont think there would be any problem doing a graffer for this, not like
Tweak which I would not want to take a shot at. (the new options
of Tweak, shift certain ranges depending upon how close to a particualr color
one was, not lut based).

Just found that it is built in Avisynth function, and no weird conditional
stuff involved (I think), think this would be possible if required.
Would you like a graffer for this (dont hold your breath)?

another option is to gimp or photoshop curves with GiCoCu

I definitely think an RGBAdjust Graffer would be useful. :)

This option seems quite attractive actually. I will definitely try this and report back with my results.

@ all

I was wondering if posting like a 50MB sample of the raw BD source could help in this process...?
