Hello,

I use "MakeMKV" to make "copies" of my Blu-ray discs. The output .mkv files contain the original video, audio and subtitle streams.

So far - only VLC is able to display this type of subtitles (I believe they are called PGS - Presentation Graphis Stream?). But I don't enjoy VLC very much.

Do you know any other software player that can do it?
(I wish Splash Lite could do it, I like this player very much).

Thanks,

latet

MPC-HC should be able to play PGS subs as well.

Well, it's not. Not from MKV container (VLC can).

Well, I'd be curious if MPlayer/SMPlayer works if you don't mind testing. The code is there (yes, also for MKV), but I am not 100% sure it was properly tested.
