This is a tad embarrassing, I'm a long time avisynth user with XP, and I just bought a Win7-x64 laptop and have no idea how to install 32-bit avisynth on it (all my scripts rely on tsp's MT version) ... I did a search for thread titles with "install" but not a lot of luck there.

Do I just run the normal installer and then copy over tsp's MT version and FFT library to the installed location (like normal) ? I gather Win7-x64 uses a funny folder name or something, so will the install default OK to that ?

Do you have any other hints (or links) to other actions I should consider - eg I recall something about a codec priority tweaker of some kind if I'm tempted to install 32-bit ffdshow to use 32-bit avisynth and 32-bit MediaPlayerClassic...

Thanks.

You install Avisynth the same way you'd install it on a 32-bit system. There is no difference at all. I expect that the same is true for Avisynth-MT.
About codec priorities you may want to use this tool (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=146910&highlight=windows) to get ffdshow running as expected. Apart from that there is nothing special about setting up ffdshow and MPC-HC either.
