Hi,
I just got a JVC miniDV. After I used VirtualDub or Ulead Videostudio
to transfer the content to my hard disk, I found that the file is a
.avi file. It can be played, the format is "DVSD".
However, when I tried to load it into VirtualDub for converting to
DivX, VirtualDub refused to do so, saying that I need a "video for
windows" compatible codec because it couldn't locate the decompressor
of "dvsd" format.
I searched all the forums and couldn't find any answer.
Could anyone give me some suggestions? Or just tell me what to do.
Thank you very much.
P.S. I have Adobe premiere 6.0 installed, but I like VirtualDub.
