Hello,

I'm so lost with all the different places allowing you to choose 0..255/16..235 - nvidia cpanel, renderer output setting, decoder settings, and so on.

For example, if my tv expects 16-235 (do they all?), and I select 16-235, and then select 0-255 in renderer settings, what will happen? what will happen if i select 16-235 in latter?

Is it possible to somehow verify what it is at what stage?

hmm... No. If you're able to select black level in your tv as low/high you're able to get 16-235/0-255 levels. This way you can set all the chain to FullRGB (0-255). Overwise set everything to Limited (16-235). Right?

I guess so.

At which point does NVidia driver convert 0-255 to 16-235? Will it still squeeze it further if arriving signal already is in 16-235 or is it intelligent? If I have NVidia at 16-235, then changing MPC output range does not seem to change anything..

Keep the entire chain at 0-255. Unless you have a CRT tv.
