hi.. i try to made a black video /because of space/ which i want to mux it with my 24/96 5.1 dts hd ma audio. a friend of mine send me a line for avisynth. BlankClip(300000,1920,1080,"YV12",24000,1001) it works... but on my player i'm not able to use pause button now. or.. i am able to press pause, and then counter stops but audio is still running. after i press pause button twice, counter moves fast forward until the time is correct.

i demuxed video from the dire straits and this one works perfect...

This obviously is a problem with whatever player you are using. What player shows this issue? And is this problem with a hard- or a software player?

Moved to "software player" forum for now...

I ask myself why you post in in a part of the forum called software players.

...because I moved his thread there :o

Will move to the "hardware players" forum, now that he has clarified what kind of player he is using.

Depressya,

As I mentioned to you over on the Xtreamer forum (Thu 03 Feb). If your intension is to create "audio only" files:

May I suggest you mux just the "audio stream" into the .M2TS or .MKA container. You don't need a "black video" element!

Cheers

i didn't mentioned it but i need it because of chapters. as xtreamer didn't support gapless playback i created a whole audio file. so my idea was to put it to the *mkv or BD structure. and BD audio format didnt work yet. or?

Doesnt really matter is my guess. You can use tsMuxer to generate one big .M2TS with the audio you want and without video. It can also mux in chapter points (compose a chapter-list and c/p it in the edit box).

MultiACHD (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=143744) might even work better for you / your purposes.

All in all, i think SMD's answer is/was right.

thanx for replay but as i said before. its not possible to pause it in bluray mode with video. the very same situation is with no video *m2ts and also no video AVCHD. no chapters at all.
i tried to mux it with video which i extracted from last episode "the big bang theory"... video stops immediately but audio after about 24 second later. then i try the very same thing with "all about eve" video track.
same thing except of time. it was about 14 seconds now.
and by the way, *mka is unpauseable for me to.

with avchd program is everythigh as with tsmuxer except the counter. now it stops when i press pause and after i press play again it continues at the same possition /not the actual/

dolby trueHD audio track extracted from BD and muxed with tsmuxer as *m2ts works as you described. this time without counter. it shows 00:00:00 until pause is pressed and then change to actual time and again is static until you press pause again. etc...

Then i cant help you any further. I have no xtreamer, nor any experience with one. If it doesnt play the -audio only- files generated by multiAVCHD, im inclined to say something is wrong with your box.

one thing i saw in looking at you 1080p blank video clip; 40 mbps for blank video is somewhat excessive, you can lower that at least. But thats not the solution to your problem ...

The fact that you also require chapter point navigation, changes everything. Indeed, only the following containers support chapter navigation: MP4, MKV/A, DVD with compliant structure, Blu-ray with compliant structure and AVC-HD with compliant structure. And these will have their limitations.

Given MP4 and DVD don't support DTS audio at 96KHz/24-bit, they are out. I don't think the Xtreamer understands the file structure of AVC-HD files, so it's out too. So that leaves the .MKA container and the Blu-ray file structure.

Not so long ago I generated some "continuous" audio only .MKA muxes with chapter navigation points. And although software players such as VLC and MediaPlayer Classic were able to navigate through the chapters, the Xtreamer (and my Samsung Blu-ray player) were not able to. So that leaves just the Blu-ray file structure!

So, a couple of hours ago using TSmuxer GUI, I generated some continuous "audio only" Blu-ray muxes with chapter points.

I'm happy to confirm the Xtreamer was able to play, pause and chapter navigate them.

oki, but the main point was, that i'm unable to pause that stream. i generated for last week about a 20GB of different streams :D its really not a problem to make that kind of stream.... *mkv and *m2ts also. without video stream looks like impossible to pause it. and that delaying of pause with video track must have something to do with that kind of video. as a wrote above. it is possible to pause it. but why it takes 20 or so seconds until audio stops.
but i'm really appreciate your help.
