hello jdobbs i need your help!!!! i left rhozet carbon coder for use cinema craft encoder.
Well.. i have 2 version of CCE (SP2 2.70 and CCE 1.0.0.18) i try to make two backup, in phase 1 (resdistribution) give the same error.

Hve you tried to use HCEnc for redistribution pass?

I know what you mean but you were actually talking about redistribution pass. I don't think it matters which encoder you use for that stage. DVDRB feeds 10% of a cell into the encoder to get the bitrate that is needed to maintain a given quality level. This information is used for the real encode where you can use CCE is you prefer.

I've never seen that one -- or at least I can't remember seeing it. According to this post (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=1164387&highlight=OPV+VBV+error#post1164387) it happens when the maximum bitrate is set too high. I also saw a post where someone said CCE will give that error when it runs out of memory. Try doing a search here on Doom9 for "OPV VBV error" -- there are lots of discussions on that one.
