First let me set some parameters:
1. I have used DVDRB for years. Ever thing I have done looks just as good the original from DVD9 to 5 or otherwise.
2. I have used BD-RB since It's release. I use only the settings as suggested by Jdobbs and my results are to be worshiped by the Gods as to be as good to the original. (Thanks X.264 and all the others)
3. My question is what is the stuff about "Tweaks, open this and that, and all the other stuff about filters, changes to x.264, etc, etc" when my movies look as good as the original using the default settings and not adding stuff.
4. All I want to do is watch the move just like the original and BD-RB does that with no burning the midnight oil on 100 different tweaks.
5.Just to set the record straight, I watch on a 50" Samsung with a Yamaha 7.1. So I'm not looking at a 20" monitor for results.
Thanks Jdobbs for a fantastic product.
Be kind, I bruise easily....
