hi, and sorry if this is in wrong subforum...
I find sections here bit confusing...
my problem lies in HD movie with different audio
container is MKV, audio is DTS, video stream is x264
now, audio was in russian language (only)
so my idea was to take out MP3 of english audio out of DVD rip
remove russian and put in english
so I used MKV cleaver to take out video stream
and used MKV merge to add MP3 with video stream
---
problem is that video stream(movie) is few minutes longer than
audio taken out from DVD rip, so when muxed together
I got desync of sound after like 10 seconds
my question is should I just add some random sound(or even a void) at the end of MP3 (since its credits list anyway)
so it has same length as video stream or there is more into this than just simple length in video and audio
again I'm sorry if in wrong section
I am newbie, I don't understand technical stuff behind encoding/transcoding (whatever) :P
be gentle :)
