app for copy DVD to mpg? (solved)

Ive been searching a lot but I'm still not able to find free extractor from vob files (or DVD) to one mpg file with sound. Then I want to convert but I know how to do it, so just to copy streams into one file.

Do you keep the mpeg files or just convert them? If you're only creating them to convert, why not convert the vob files and bypass the mpeg step?

I know virtualdub well so why to learn anything else?

VirtualDub can open multiple VOB files as one file with the MPEG2 plugin from fcchandler.
