Hi a few days back i find out about mpc-hc and dxva playback.tried to use DXVA on my KMPlayer But failed (more on that later) and finally shifted to mpc-hc and found it to be a great player.however i still need to know something,so want ur help -

1.Can I Increase somehow Mpc-hc's audio processing capabilities (EQ,boost audio, enhancer etc?),i am Not impressed with its audio processing capabilities...KMplayer beats it Hands Down

2.Can I make the subtitles to display on the overlay surface??

Now for The DXVA Playback on KMPlayer
1.Updated DX11 to june 2010

3.Checked My chipset with DXVA Checker

3. Followed this Guide to the word - http://imouto.my/configuring-kmplayer-to-play-h-264-videos-using-microsofts-directx-video-acceleration-dxva-and-nvidias-compute-unified-device-architecture-cuda/

4.After That When Tried to Play...there Was no video...But Only audio :(

DXVA support in MPC-HC should be fine out of the box.

I believe DXVA isn't supported with madVR.

For mpc-hc.

use evr-cp (or vmr9-renderless if you are using xp)
that should fix subtitles and dxva

As for audio, mpc-hc passes the audio through unprocessed, but if you use ffdshow for the audio decoding you can apply all sorts of postprocessing.

What exactly do you mean by "display on the overlay surface"?

Option-Subtitles-Default Style
Position subtitles relative to the video frame=must not be checked
Unchecked or undetermined states do what you want.
