As per attached, DVDImageRipper was updated to Ver.1.8., because of slight GUI modification and internal process change.

Attachment "DVDImageRipper_17E.zip" is removed from the former thread named "DVDImageRipper_14 Update".

Today I received a DVD "Oh Yes, It's Springtime (UK version)".
Needles to say, as you mentined earlier for an Itatian version, DVDImageRipper (both v1.7 and v1.8) successfully ripped this DVD in 20 minutes under my PC environment.

This UK version contains six languages and the ripped image can be played noramlly in any one of these languages.

I am plan to copy Disney's DVD UP, Princess and the Frog, Wall-E, there are encrypted whit new X-Project

OK,
the Disney's DVD UP finished, the original DVD is a DL DVD disc, the target GFO-0N-NW1_DES.ISO file size is 5.88 G , the VLC player works well with the target iso
PRINCESS_AND_THE_FROG.ISO , target iso file size ： 7.53G
everything works like a charm :)

I think if i need burn the iso to blank dl DVD to do a deeper test.

I'm glad to know that DVDImageRipper_17 & _18 seem to work normally.

Indication of DVD format type (PTP and OTP) is added.

Considering the above, I'll soon upload DVDImageRipper_19 in a few days.

I made an experiment:

PC software player has no problem, and
the ripped image from "Little Einstein" burned on a DVD+RDL / DVD-RDL media can be played on a standalone DVD player.

To the users of DVDImageRipper

I have tested ten DVD+RDL discs using a ripped image of Disneys's DVD entitled "Oh It's Springtime" (UK version).
This VIDEO-DVD disc is of PTP format, while most DVD-VIDEO discs are of OTP (see the HELP_19E.pdf for the terms PTP/OTP).

First three discs revealed faulty results while playing on a standalone DVD player, but the remaining seven discs showed successful results.
Several reasons can be assumed for the faulty results; too fast writing speed, instable PC state, defective DVD+RDL media, etc.

Failure was cast aside by the seven successful results !!!

I posted a few messages in this thread stating that ripped images from PTP formatted discs should use DVD-RDL (MINUS media).

Considering the above, I recompiled DVDImageRipper v.1.9 as per attached.

To those who use DVDImageRipper:

I have posted an attachment named DVDImageRipper V.2.0 (Console Version) in the thread posted by "dlanod" entitled "What did happen to DVDImageRipper ?".

Sooner or later it will be available for download after approved by DOOM9.

Reason of Console Version is that it is stable compared with WIN32 GUI version.

Try it if you would like to.
