Avisynth for linux?

i want to start divx encoding on my linux box, since this box runs 24/7 and is idle most of the time. the first dvd-rip i wanted to make was the simpsons season one. this dvd has some severe problems with interlaced frames. i want do deinterlace this, but after reading the nicky guides it seems that the only truly working deinterlacer is bob, wich is based on avisynth. so i would like to know if there is a avisynth version for linux or something else i can use to run bob on my box.
