I'd decrypted a few of my Blu-Ray disc to hard drive so that I can play it without using the actual disc. I see a bunch of files on the hard drive but unlike DVD files, my Cyberlink Blu-Ray player does not seem to recognize the files. If I manually select a file (the largest) it will play. However, there seems to be no logic on what is being played. With Iron Man 2, it starts in the middle of the movie and the language is in French. For Predators, it plays right from the beginning but also in French.
Do I have to convert them to something else before I can play them?
Thanks!

Hi!
Subsequent to v.7.0xx of PowerDVD, the ability to play full disc Blu-ray "packages" directly from folders on your hard drive was eliminated.
Now, if you'd like to accomplish that, you have to first convert the folder's contents to an .ISO image file and use "Virtual Clone Drive or similar to mount the .ISO image file. If you then start PowerDVD, it will recognize the mounted .ISO image file as a Blu-ray disc - and will load and play it, menu, extras, etc., in addition to the main movie...

if i am interpreting correctly the issue you are dealing with is m2ts files being the selected playback files. These files are all ordered by the blu-ray package or system at playback time. What you need to do is use a tool like blu-rip to rip the files and mux (multiplex) them into an mkv file. I recommended checking out blu-rip. Get all the necessary files, and try ripping a movie. Works great for me.

I use makemkv
http://www.makemkv.com/
It converts the data into mkv files quickly w/o transcoding/encoding.
