Hello

I have successfully used Smartripper for ripping and Flask for encoding before but, this time with 'The Sixth Sense', the rip goes fine and I end up with files:

filename size (B)
VTS_23_0.BUP 63488
VTS_23_0.IFO 63488
VTS_23_1.VOB 1073565696
VTS_23_2.VOB 1073565696
VTS_23_3.VOB 1073565696
VTS_23_4.VOB 1073565696
VTS_23_5.VOB 843190272

That all looks OK BUT when I try to Flask it (File > Open Media > and point it at the .IFO file), nothing happens! I can open Flask on the individual .VOB files so it suggests something up with the .IFO
I also tried to play the movie from HD by pointing PowerDVD 3 at the .IFO file, which has worked in the past on other films and again, NOTHING happens.
Would you have an ideas about this? I've tried searching the net for Sixth Sense DVD rip problem and all that. I've also tried re-ripping with a different ripper ('Claddvd')
I have checked out the guides here but I am still quite new to this so sorry if I'm doing something dumb.

My PC is A7M266 / 1GHz Athlon / Windows ME. This is the first time I've tried ripping with ME. Previously I was using Windows 98

Haven't used Flask, but with SmartRipper I've had great succes in "movie" mode rather than "files" or "backup" modes. Most of the guides here will recommend that.

Hope that helped.
