Ghosting hell

Trying to back up one, IMO, poorly mastered DVD. It has lots of ghosting throughout, might be field blending but I don't think its from PAL<->NTSC conversions.

If someone could have a look and offer advice it would be awesome!

Using AviSynth, so what's the best way to go about removing/managing that ghosting?

That's blend deinterlacing of true-interlaced content. There's absolutely nothing that could be done about it.

Thank you for confirming that; I had my suspicions as DGIndex was reporting it as progressive.
