I just bought the Audigy mp3+ soundcard & it is great.The software comes with 4 sound files with the .ac-3 extention.These files sound absolutely fantastic with clear separation when played in Creative playcenter.When i demux a vob in Smartripper,i get a vob file with black screen & ac-3? sound.These files plays in mediaplayer & win dvd 3.0 but do not sound as good as the Creative files.However,the ripped files do NOT play in Creative playcenter.The Creative files does NOT play in mediaplayer, but play's in win dvd 3.0 showing .ac-3 in the window.My ripped vob's shows up as mpeg in win dvd 3.0.In media player i get "Cannot play back the file.The format is not supported" with the Creative ac-3 files.Are there different Dolby Digital formats or samplingrates etc. that would explain this?
