I've got a messed up concert on a blu-ray which I believe is a Pal > NTSC conversion. With separtefields().selecteven/odd() I could see lots of blended fields so I turned to RePal and Restore 24. Both gave me very acceptable results and most of the ghosting was gone and I got a clean film look. (25fps actually but you know what meant)
However, the source has a somewhat jerky video look during playback (with bob deinterlacing on my computer and with the blu-ray player on my TV) so I believe it's originally 50i material.
My question is that is it possible to reverse this kind of 50i to 59.94i conversion? Or, if I have the space to spare, can I generate a 50p encode with this source?
Any comments/scripts will be very much appreciated.
