luma equalizer

I'm looking for a filter to fine tune the luma levels similar to Avidemux's filter "luma equalizer"

As you can see in the vectorscope (Vegas) it help greatly.

Take a look at LaTo's SmoothAdjust (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=154971) plugin, especially the SmoothCurve function.

Right but i don't get how it work really, i'd need something simpler
