For everyone in this media development field, this is something I have contributed: codecdictionary (http://codecdictionary.com)

Its a social dictionary focused only on Multimedia CODECs.
I am and have been involved for a long time in this field (audio video processing, streaming, and other stuff), but now I am off track and this small project is my 2 cents to the community which I still think I am part of.

Its in beta and am updating regularly. Please give some feedback so that it can be more useful and helpful for everyone of us.

I remember when I had to read dozens of publications/papers etc. full of technical jargon. I think this 'quick' reference dictionary will certainly help it. Critiques are welcome

an update: I have introduced a guest Login/password :thegeek@codecdictionary.com / ag3nts for codecdictionary usage so that u get to know more about it. and some useful definitions to already added words (with lesser valued definitions)
