I have an issue with my plasma TV in that I get image retention when static logos are displayed. I am looking for a method to obscure static logos on pre-recorded material I play from my PC in realtime (Rather than having to reencode them).
Ideally it would be a mouse dragable box containing low contrast moving static noise. But even a blur would be better than nothing at all. Some of the biggest offenders are channels like Cartoon Network where they have a black and white static logo. Clearing that from my screen after one hours viewing took the better part of a day!
