View Full Version : In VC-1 standard why number of bits for Panscan width and Height are 14?

Hi,

In VC-1 standard when the total width and height of a picture can be represented in 12 bits why do we need 14 bits for Panscan width and height?( Its given in the standard that the syntax elements PS_WIDTH and PS_HEIGHT are of 14 bits).
